Our Commitment

Vendility POS is built on Flutter's standard accessibility framework, which provides baseline support for assistive technologies out of the box across iOS and Android. We're actively working toward a more thoroughly tested and tuned experience for all users, including those relying on assistive technology.

Current Support

• Screen readers: Standard interface elements (buttons, text fields, navigation) expose default accessibility labels via VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android) through Flutter's built-in widget semantics.
• Dynamic Type: Text respects the system font-size setting on both platforms unless a screen has not yet been verified against larger accessibility text sizes.
• Light & Dark mode: The app supports both system-linked and manually-selected light and dark themes, for users sensitive to screen brightness or contrast.
• Color contrast: Core interface colors are chosen with legibility in mind, though we have not yet completed a formal WCAG contrast audit.

What We're Working On

We know accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checklist. Areas we're actively improving include custom semantic labels for icon-only controls, more thorough VoiceOver/TalkBack testing across every screen, and a formal contrast audit against WCAG 2.1 AA.
